BEHAVIOUR

Staff treat all children fairly and apply our behaviour policy in a consistent way. Children are encouraged to make positive behaviour choices and understand the consequences of their actions. The school challenges unacceptable behaviour and praises and rewards positive behaviour. To ensure a consistent approach across the school, unacceptable behaviours are managed using the levels shown in the behaviour flowchart below.

House Points - All pupils in the school are organised into 4 houses; Rashford, Beatrix, Attenborough and Malala. Pupils work to achieve house points each week for their house and these are totalled up every Friday. At the end of each main term, the winning house and a select number of nominated pupils from other houses, will win a special prize.

Certificates - At Calverton Primary School, we celebrate our children’s achievements on a weekly basis through our ‘celebration assemblies’.  These take place every Friday.

All of our children have the opportunity to gain certificates for the following:

-TEACH Values

-Improved Effort
